“Will it work in a small town?” I was asked a lot. I admit, I myself was unsure whether the concept “Church goes Pub”, which was successfully implemented in Magdeburg for a few years, will find the approval of the people in Rotenburg an der Fulda…The more I am pleased today that the people are streaming in and love the evenings. They enjoy the talks, live music and to listen to stories of life and faith in a cozy pub- the “Gallery”. Meanwhile, so much more is happening than I can represent it in a few lines, for Example: an annual summer open-air event with special guests, this year we welcomed Fossi Bäumer, who spoke about freedom in particular, as he has experienced it. Around 150 people enjoyed a wonderful summer evening on the shore of Fulda.

I am thankful for my great team and our community always fascinates me.

And that is what “Church goes Pub” is: to drink a beer, to eat something tasty while listening to exciting life stories that are breathed divine. Surrounded by the sound of an unplugged band and conversations-  “Church goes Pub” (CgP) is a cozy, simple and interesting place.
